The Manual for Life

The ‘Manual for life’ is a book, or, actually, more than a book.
It is a complete library of 66 books.
This library contains books of a few pages and more extensive works as well.
Among them are books of law, poetic books and historical writings. There are letters and biographies, and also prophetic books, which present a view of the future.
These books are written by some 40 different authors, over a period of more than 1.600 years.
The most recent book was written around the year 100 B.C.
Kings and priests are to be found among the authors, as well as highly placed officials and doctors, farmers, shepherds and fishermen.
What is remarkable is the fact that, in spite of all these different authors, their writings demonstrate a remarkable unity as far as the message they proclaim is concerned. This comes about because the different authors all have one and the same source of inspiration.
The ‘Manual for life’ is known by the name: Bible.
In it make the acquaintance of the ‘Maker’ of life, i.e. the Creator of this world, Who inspired the authors of the Bible.
This website wants to help you to make the acquaintance of the ‘Maker of life’.
This is God, Who has made Himself known in the Bible.
He is the Creator of heaven and earth. This world, with people, animals and plants, was created by Him.
In the ‘Manual’ He caused to be written He reveals Who He is, and shows His character, and the intensity of His love for creation. In it He demonstrates how valuable and precious every human being is to Him.
Our intention is for you to go on to understand and experience the love God has for you personally, and for you to discover how He wants to help you to receive the rest and the peace in your life that God intended.
